  • HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE AT MY APPOINTMENT/WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE TO MY APPOINTMENT?
    Our team will need to be informed when arriving early or running late. If arriving early, we ask you to respect our time since we may be assisting another client prior to your appointment. We are able to start earlier than your scheduled time if it doesn't conflict with our schedule. If arriving late, we will allow a 10-minute window for you to arrive after informing us. Service may be subject to cancellation, with the service fee paid in full if we are not informed or if it runs into our time with another client.
  • WILL A SPRAY TAN AFFECT THE WAY MY MAKEUP LOOKS?
    Our artist will be able to color match you and make sure there is no difference in shades. We request when getting a spray tan, that it's modest and clean.
  • IS GRATUITY ADDED WHEN I MAKE FINAL PAYMENT?
    We do not add gratuity onto the final payment. Gratuity is completely optional but highly appreciated.
  • HOW LONG DOES HAIR & MAKEUP TAKE?
    On average, hair and makeup can take up to 30 minutes per person. Our team provides quality service up to your expectations while working on a set schedule for completion. We anticipate service interruptions on the day of, but will not be held responsible for time lost due to the party not cooperating with the schedule.
  • DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
    All events require a 25% deposit of total cost when booking, to secure your date. This deposit will go towards your final payment. The date will NOT be saved until deposit is paid
  • DO YOU REQUIRE ANYONE TO BRING THEIR OWN PRODUCTS/PREP THEMSELVES BEFORE ARRIVING?
    Great question! We get asked this a lot, We provide all products that are needed for the day of. Regarding makeup, if you insist on using a specific product due to allergies/sensitive skin/blemishes, you are more than welcome to bring those products to the makeup artist. This will not change the cost of service. Before arriving on the day of, this is what we request for your hair and face to get the best possible outcome: Hair washed, fully dried, and product free Face washed, exfoliated, and moisturized
  • WHEN DO I NEED TO BOOK MY TRIAL?
    We recommend booking your trial for your bridal photos/any photo sessions before the wedding, to ensure makeup and hair will be to your liking in photos. Typically 2-3 months before the wedding after you've received your dress and accessories, so we can style accordingly.
  • ONE OF MY PARTY MEMBERS HAD TO DROP OUT AFTER THE 60 DAY POLICY, WILL I BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT?
    Yes. We highly recommend ensuring all party members are confident in wanting our service before booking with us. Although life happens, we do our best to give you enough time to cancel any services booked. If a service is canceled after 60 day notice, all service fees will need to be paid in full. You are more than welcome to replace a party member with someone else for no additional fees.
  • WILL MY MAKEUP LAST ALL NIGHT? WHAT IF I CRY?
    Absolutely. A true professional makeup application will last the full duration of your event. Not only are your eyes and skin prepared with the proper skin care and priming products, but you will also be set and finished with powders and sprays that help seal the makeup so it stays in place.
  • DO YOU OFFER DIFFERENT PRICING FOR MOMS, GRANDMAS, AND YOUNG TEENS?
    We have a set price for the entire bridal party, this includes all of the above, as well as bridesmaids. Everyone has different expectations of how they want to look, so it would be unrealistic to come up with a different price for each individual. We do have a flower girl price for little application on younger party members.
  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM SERVICE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL ON LOCATION?
    We require a minimum of 5 adult hair and 5 adult makeup services booked in order to travel on location.
  • DO YOU OFFER A SERVICE WHERE YOU STAY AFTER THE CEREMONY AND DURING THE RECEPTION TO TOUCH UP HAIR AND MAKEUP?
    Yes, we do. Additional fees will apply, and it will need to be discussed with our team prior to the day of, so we can plan accordingly.
  • HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
    Our travel rate is based on location and distance. We’re a local wedding team in the Houston/Conroe area, but further locations can be discussed with the artists depending on availability.
  • CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE LARGE WEDDING PARTIES?
    We absolutely can accommodate large wedding parties. Additional artists may be needed for the day of, depending on a few factors that we’ll discuss when booking.
  • HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK HAIR & MAKEUP SERVICES?
    ASAP! We have consistent inquiries that come through 1-2 years in advance.
  • DID OUR COMPANY NAME CHANGE?
    YES!!!! As of 02/01/2024 we have launched our rebrand for our company! Our name WAS Blush and Brush Co. but we are now known as TELL Beauty!
  • DO YOU OFFER AIRBRUSH MAKEUP?
    No, we only specialize in traditional makeup. Airbrush doesn't favor all skin types. It can also enhance any blemishes or flaws you have in pictures and in person. It also tends to cling to any "peach fuzz".
  • WILL YOU USE WATERPROOF MASCARA?
    Yes, waterproof mascara will be used unless specified otherwise.
  • DO YOU OFFER EXTENSIONS? OR CAN YOU PUT MINE IN?
    Yes, we offer Halo extensions for our clients to buy! Let us know if you'd like a Halo consultation. We can apply any extensions for an additional fee.
  • I’M A BIT NERVOUS ABOUT BOOKING RIGHT AWAY. CAN I BOOK MY TRIAL AND GIVE A DEPOSIT AT A LATER DATE?
    Due to the high demand for inquiries during the wedding season, we cannot guarantee your date will still be available after your trial. We highly recommend securing your date before booking a trial, since we typically have 2-3 requests during the busy season for the same dates.
  • SHOULD MY HAIR BE DIRTY OR CLEAN?
    Clean is always better! 1-day old hair is perfect. We’ll have enough products to make sure your hair has the grit in it to hold! Please make sure it's dry when we get to you, we do not bring a blow dryer.
  • SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL I HAVE A CONFIRMED NUMBER OF SERVICES BEFORE BOOKING?
    NO! We have our minimum requirement (5 adult hair and 5 adult makeup) in order to book. As long as you know you'll have at least that amount, go ahead and book for the 5 hair and 5 makeup and then you have up until 60 days before the wedding day to add services. We highly recommend not waiting until confirmed head count to book, because our dates do not stay available for long and we would hate for you to lose the opportunity to book.
  • WILL THE MAKEUP ARTIST PROVIDE LASHES FOR EVERYONE?
    Yes, lashes are included with the cost, and the artist will bring different pairs to best-fit everyone.
