YES! Beginning in 2027 Tell Beauty will only be offering wedding makeup services. There are phenomenal stylists I work alongside I would be more than happy to recommend. We work together to ensure everything runs smoothly during the booking process for you.
I absolutely can accommodate large wedding parties. Additional artists may be needed for the day of, depending on a few factors that we’ll discuss when booking.
All events require a 25% deposit of total cost when booking to secure your date. This deposit will go towards your final payment. The date will NOT be saved until deposit is paid
Due to the high demand for inquiries during the wedding season, I cannot guarantee your date will still be available after your trial. I highly recommend securing your date before booking a trial, since I typically have 2-3 requests during the busy season for the same dates.
I am able to travel anywhere and everywhere as long as I'm available for your date. More information available upon request
ASAP! I have consistent inquires that come through 1-2 years in advance.
On average, makeup can take up to 45 minutes per assistant service & up to 1hr 20 min for bridal service. I provide quality service up to your expectations while working on a set schedule for completion. I anticipate service interruptions on the day of, but will not be held responsible for time lost due to the party not cooperating with the schedule.
Great question! I get asked this a lot,
I provide all products that are needed for the day of. If you insist on using a specific product due to allergies/sensitive skin/blemishes, you are more than welcome to bring those products to the makeup artist. This will not change the cost of service.
Before arriving on the day of, this is what I request for your face to get the best possible outcome:
Face washed, exfoliated, and moisturized (if you have leftover makeup from the night before, you will be asked to wash your face prior to service)
Yes, waterproof mascara will be used as well as all face and eye products will be waterproof/water resistent. May I remind you that this still means you need to take great caution when caring for your makeup after service. If you know you're going to cry be sure to keep a tissue on hand and dab undereye before tear falls. If the tear streaks down the face and soaks into the powders, you will not be able to cover that up.
Yes!!! Highly recommend getting a modest spray tan for the best outcome. Please DO NOT spray your face to prevent enhanced unwanted texture, peach fuzz and pores. The artist will be able to color match you and make sure there is no difference in shades.
Absolutely. A true professional makeup application will last the full duration of your event. Not only are your eyes and skin prepared with the proper skin care and priming products, but you will also be set and finished with powders and sprays that help seal the makeup so it stays in place.
WHEN CRYING- always be sure to carry q-tips or tissues on you to dab your undereye. Our tears have oils in them so if you cry and let your tears streak down your face they will soak through the powders and cause cry lines that are not easily coverable.
Yes. I highly recommend ensuring all party members are confident in wanting a service at the 60 day mark when services are confirmed & final. Although life happens, I do my best to give you enough time to cancel any services booked. If a service is canceled after 60 day notice, all service fees will need to be paid in full. You are more than welcome to replace a party member with someone else for no additional fees.
I recommend booking your trial for your bridal photos/any photo sessions before the wedding, to ensure makeup will be to your liking in photos. Typically 2-3 months before the wedding after you've received your dress and accessories, so I can style accordingly.
Yes, I do as long as I'm available. Additional fees will apply and it will need to be discussed with Katelyn prior to the day of so the touch up services are planned accordingly.
I will need to be informed when arriving early or running late. If arriving early, I ask you to respect my time since I may be assisting another client prior to your appointment. I am able to start earlier than your scheduled time if it doesn't conflict with my schedule. If arriving late, I will allow a 10-minute window for you to arrive after informing me. Service may be subject to cancellation, with the service fee paid in full if I am not informed or if it runs into my time with another client.
I require a minimum of 5 adult makeup services booked in order to travel on location. This would look like bride + 4 assistant makeup services
No, I only specialize in traditional makeup. Airbrush doesn't favor all skin types. It can also enhance any blemishes or flaws you have in pictures and in person. It also tends to cling to any "peach fuzz".
I have a set price for the entire bridal party, this includes all of the above, as well as bridesmaids. Everyone has different expectations of how they want to look, so it would be unrealistic to come up with a different price for each individual. If you're only wanting a specific application done (ex. eyes only, face only etc.) I am able to do this, but the price does not change.
Yes, lashes are included with the cost and the artist will bring different pairs to best-fit everyone.
NO! I have my minimum requirement (5 adult makeup) in order to book. As long as you know you'll have at least that amount, go ahead and book for the 5 makeup and then you have up until 60 days before the wedding day to add services. I highly recommend not waiting until confirmed head count to book, because dates do not stay available for long and I would hate for you to lose the opportunity to book.
We do not add gratuity onto the final payment. Gratuity is completely optional but highly appreciated.
